The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere and view of the mountains. The prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Trattoria Pina is a fave of mine so I was thrilled to go on Valentine's Day for an amazing dinner (so good that we started eating before remembering to take pictures)! We were thrilled to get same day reservation and although we arrived a bit early they got us seated in the beautiful dining room and our waiter Rocco took amazing care of us! They started us off with delicious bread and oil basalmic dipping sauce and I ordered the create your own pizza with green olives and pepperoni and my date had the Medaglione di Vanessa. The pizza was perfectly made, the cheese was nice and melty and the toppings were flavorful. The cheese raviolis were very good, perfect sauce, the only feedback was the chicken was a tad tougher than we would have liked but the dish was still yummy. The food was out in a timely manner and the prices are terrific based on the location. Super nice place for a date night and they made our Valentine's dinner one for the books!

Food was pretty good. Service was good. Kind of expensive though. Tiramisu was delicious.

We are from out of town and were looking for a nice, and slightly casual restaurant to celebrate and birthday. So glad we found this place! Service was excellent - Kevin was considerate, made great recommendations and the staff worked well together filling drinks, removing plates and boxing leftovers. Definitely a warm family friendly vibe and perfect ambiance for a celebration. They were gracious to recognize a birthday at our table with a delicious orange amaretto cake that was delightful. The meatball appetizer was terrific (meat was light and tender and marinara was full of flavor but not too much garlic), their focaccia bread perfectly baked, the pizza was cheesy and the scampi portofino was light and flavorful with big chunks of mushrooms and artichoke hearts. If we lived here, we would be regulars.

Trattoria Pina just might be the best Italian food in Tucson. At least the best I've tried to date. Wonderful location near the corner of Sunrise and Swan. They have a giant full wall window that allows you to look at the nearby Catalinas. They have an awesome happy hour and so the wifey and I grazed off that menu rather than getting entrees but maybe next time. You also get complimentary bread and oil/vinegar for dipping. The happy hour portions were great for splitting between the two of us and so delicious. We went with the meatballs, gnocchi, and stuffed mushrooms. The meatballs were huge and moist. The sauce they are in was yummy and sweet, they use good tomatoes. The gnocchi was also a huge hit we both enjoyed although the alfredo it is in was a little watery but still delicious flavor. I liked the mushrooms. I felt they were good but not great. The wifey was not a huge fan of them as they did not come with a sauce. I finished them. We also split a Caesar salad that had a perfect lettuce, crouton, dressing ratio and was fresh. We did buy dessert but got it to go. I got pumpkin cake which is terrific. I'm a huge pumpkin fan and they nailed it. The wifey got cannolis and by her standards which are incredibly high, they are the best cannolis in Tucson, and a close second for in Arizona. Absolutely will be back again to try more delicious items. Also the server was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

We hoped for Pizza here tonight but they are closed for 5 days for a family wedding. Must be important. I'll. Be back. This is superior Italian here.

Some of the best Italian in Tucson. Incredible food, drinks, and overall ambiance. Haven't tried a bad thing yet!

I went lunch and ordered the eggplant with cheese and marinara sauce. It was beautifully prepared. I ordered the salmon a la griglia to go and tiramisu. This order was for a friend who is housebound. She said "it was absolutely delicious ". Our server was very attentive and he had a great personality. I love this restaurant. The food is never a disappointment.

Indoor and outdoor seating . Good service. Happy Hour that you don't have to sit at a bar to enjoy. The tiramisu martini was well balanced and too easy to drink one too many! The Fettuccine Quattro Sapore was different as it was not the usual chicken accompanied but rather a ground sausage with a balanced ( not overpowering) Gorgonzola cream sauce. The Bianco e Negro was aesthetically fun to eat with a combination of white and squid ink noodles giving it the appearance of black and white noodles. It's a busy place - reservations recommended.
